	Homecoming Float, North Dakota Agricultural College Title Homecoming Float, North Dakota Agricultural College Date of Original 1926-11-06 Description The Delta Kappa Sigma fraternity float, was one of 35 floats in the 1926 Homecoming Parade prior to the Homecoming game against the University of North Dakota. The float is pulled by two horses. A student wearing what appears to be a tuxedo is standing in front of a rendition of what appears to be a front door of a house. A rendition of a knotted lamppost is behind the student. The word Homecoming is written on the side of the float, and the Alba Bales House is visible in the background. Title supplied by staff. Biography/History The 1926 Homecoming football contest pitted the Bison against the Nodaks of the University of North Dakota. The University of North Dakota won the contest with a 7-6 victory. The first two football games ever played by the North Dakota Agricultural College were in 1894 and both against the University of North Dakota. North Dakota Agricultural College won both games, with scores of 24 to 6 and 20 to 4. In 1895 each school won a game.
