| Description | As part of the Fargo Fire Festival, which celebrated Fargo's rebuilding after the devastating fire of June 1893, a man has stopped his buggy to watch a hot air balloon being inflated. The photograph is probably taken on Roberts Street, looking toward the southeast. The first building is the Hotel Boulger located on 223 Broadway and the building in the background is the Fargo Linseed Oil Mills, located at the east end of 1st Avenue North. |
