M.M. tractor donated by Pembina County, driven to Bismarck in June 1989 to take part in the N.D. 100 year celebration, trip took 3 days, stayed in Condo - Harvey - 3rd night in Mandan, tractor made 10 miles per gal. U.T.S. was the N.D. Centennial Tractor. There were 360 Entrys in parade and a fast 500 horses a great trip. Matt Werven 1990"--Handwritten on back of mat.
"This tractor was driven to Bismarck N.D. in June 1989 by Matt Weven for the 100 Year Centennial Celebration there. There were 360 Entry's in parade only one from Pembina County was Matt on this 1948 U.T.S. tractor which was called the N.D. Centennial tractor. The trip took 4 days"--Handwritten on back of photograph. |
