"Through the financial assistance and cooperation of the Badlands Homemakers Club, Medora has had a kindergarten class during the past year. The club furnished material necessary for its maintenance, and an NYA girl was secured for teach the class. The club also furnished equipment for the playground in Medora where an NYA girl is also employed to supervise the children of pre-school age at their play.
This club was the first to adopt the Homemakers Extension Program in Billings County. The club organized in the early months of 1934 and has met regularly every month since organization. The meetings are held in the evenings, and lunch is served at the close of each meeting. The club donated $5.00 to the Red Cross for Flood Relief."
