| Biography/History | The Sacred Heart Church of Minto was built for the Polish speaking settlers. In 1905 it officially became a parish lead by Father Joseph Karpinski. By 1909 additional space was needed so the church was added onto. But in 1912, a brand new church was built to accommodate the needs of the parish. This photograph shows the church on fire in 1916. The building was completely destroyed and another new church was built in its place. That church still stands today.
