We expect Mabel home today, Claude Weaver got his green card and is in Canada threshing. We think they will go about the 13th. Will write again when Mabel gets home. Love from, Mother. Mr. Elmer W. Biography/HistoryPisek (meaning sand in Czech) was named for the sand ridge it was built on. It was settled by Czech and Moravian immigrants and in 1887 the first post office was created.
