| Biography/History | The Navy V-12 program was a college training program designed to enhance the force of commissioned officers in the United States Navy during World War II. The most well-known member of the Navy V-12 program at Dickinson State Teachers College was Pierre Salinger, who later became President John F. Kennedy's press secretary.
