| Description | Standing on the bank of the Red River of the North on the Moorhead, Minn. side looking across the flooded Red River and the Front Street bridge into Fargo, N.D. The bridge says "1888" on it. On the left there are a lot of buildings and roofs submerged in the river. There is a boat with a rower in it. There are many people standing on the Front Street bridge, and also on the railroad tracks on the right, which is to the North. A large building on Fargo side of the river says "FARGO-PACKING, " and there is a billboard that says "Lion Brand." On the far right there is another building that says "Pacific Lumber Co." |
