| Biography/History | The first Cavalier school began in the winter of 1875 and classes were held in the home of John Bechtel. Then in 1877 a log school was built. After that the two story school building was constructed in the Cavalier close to the location of the current court house. In 1900 an addition was built and in 1936 a brick building was constructed that served as the school until 1956. Between 1956 and 1962 other additions were put on the school as well. |
