| Transcription | "May 21, 1995 – at the display building. Chronicle Photo" – Handwritten below photograph. "CHRONICLE PHOTO DEVELOPED WEEK OF MAY 21, 1995" – Stamped on back of photograph. "This Monitor steam engine is over 100 years old and was buried by Frank Moris farm near Pembina for 74 years. The late Ben Fisher, Bowesmont, dug up the steamer in 1967 and restored it to its existing condition. It is reported that there are only 4 left in the world" – Typed on label. |
