| Transcription | "United States of America. No. 3 $100.00. Masonic Temple Building Bond Liberty Lodge No. 49. Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons. Enderlin, North Dakota. Issued by the Masonic Building Association of Enderlin. In consideration of one hundred dollars, paid by Earl M. Sanness Liberty Lodge No. 49. Ancient, Free and Accepted Masons, through the Masonic Building Association of Enderlin being a corporation under the laws of the State of North Dakota, promise to pay to Ida J. Sanness or ___ as beneficiary, the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars, at the office of the Secretary of The Masonic Building Association of Enderlin in accordance with the rules and regulations prescribed by said Association and upon the return of this Bond. This Bond is not negotiable and can only be transferred upon the books of the Corporation. This Bond is non-interest bearing, provided, however, when, in the judgment of the Board of Directors of The Masonic Building Association of Enderlin, the income of Liberty Lodge is sufficient, a rate of interest not greater than the annual dues may be allowed an paid on the first day of January of each year. The principal sum represented by this bond is payable at the office of the Secretary within 90 days of the death of Brother Earl M. Sanness and may be called for payment at any time prior thereto. The Corporation reserves the right to call this Bond and pat the same in full at any time; such call to be made by mailing a request to the Payee to present this Bond for payment at the office of the Secretary of The Masonic Building Association of Enderlin. If the Post Office address of the payee is unknown the notice may be given by publication in any newspaper at the City of Enderlin, North Dakota, giving the number of the Bond , the name of the Payee and the dated of the call; such notice to be published once and interest on the Bond shall cease after the call is duly made. The Corporation reserves the right to apply any part of this Bond upon any indebtedness which may be outstanding against the Brother to any of the Masonic Bodies of Enderlin at whose instance the Bond has issued. Within ninety days of the death of the Brother at whose instance the Bond has been issued, the person holding this Bond my present the same to the Building Association and it will be paid in full."--Printed on front of bond.
