DescriptionAn interview with Howard White for the KPOK Radio-Thon to raise money for the Pioneer Trails Regional Museum. The interview contains information on Howard's life, including his involvement with the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) during the 1930s, and his service in World War II. White was in Co. K of the North Dakota National Guard out of Dickinson. He was part of the Guadalcanal campaign and contracted jungle rot and was sent back to the United States.
