Mr. Jacob Geritz, Lakota, North Dakota, was chosen as a 1962 Ford Farm Efficiency Award Winner for his excellent record during a ten year period in the production of wheat. Mr. Geritz, as an expression of his confidence in the potential of cytogenetics research with cereal grains, designated a grant of $2, 000.00 to be used for purchase of equipment in this cytogenetics photography laboratory. The grant was a presentation from the Ford Motor Company Fund on May 22, 1962, and was presented by the Ford Tractor & Implement Division, Ford Motor Company." |
