Biography/HistoryIn the early morning hours of May 1, 1955, the naked body of Wesley Moore, a transient laborer was found beaten and lying in a ditch along 1st Street S., between Front Street (Main Avenue) and 1st Avenue S., Fargo, N.D. Charged in the death were David Moore, Jr. and Joseph Munnell. Earlier in the evening the group and been partying in the apartment of Willie and Pedro Flores at 86 Front Street. After the party, David Moore and Joseph Munnell jumped Wesley Moore and beat him to death with a stick. David Moore was discovered by police passed out in his car with bloody clothing, and Joseph Munnell was identified as an accomplice by Wesley Moore's female companion, Joyce Fischer.
