Transcription"Mail clerk - Charles B. Brown, 1622 1st St. N., is one of the postal employees who staff the Fargo Forum Post Office after hours. A postal worker for 18 years, Brown was a rural carrier at Heaton 16 years before coming to Fargo. He works from 9:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. About 25 men work at the post office until midnight, while a skeleton crew of five men work from midnight until dawn, sorting and scheduling mail." - caption with similar image published in The Fargo Forum, October 11, 1953, p. 16.
