| Transcription | "Modern art in youth and adult attire as well as in the classroom: Bruce McGhie, art instructor at Benjamin Franklin Junior High School, watches Kay Jensen at work, as two other pupils, Paul Allen and Morris Stenerson inspect a piece of pottery. McGhie wears an all wool splash weave sports coat, brown predominating, with rust colored wool gabardine slacks. Kay, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jensen, looks crisp and smart in a brown on white plaid cotton broadcloth with a pleated front and brown trim in the collar and belt. Paul and Morris are comfortable and happy in their school togs for they're not only smart but they're washable. Paul, son of Dr. and Mrs. Keith G. Allen, has a cotton plaid shirt and linen weave rayon slacks. Morris has a vicara plaid shirt with college 'cords' and a buff suede belt. He is the son of Mrs. Morris Stenerson." - caption with image published in The Fargo Forum, March 31, 1954, p. 30. |
