| Transcription | "Escorted to rostrum - Members of the Senate and House of the North Dakota Legislature held a joint meeting to hear a Texas newspaperman talk about freedom of information. Newsmen were honored by being escorted to the rostrum in the House chambers, in which the joint meeting was held. Main speaker was Mason Walsh, managing editor of the Dallas Times-Herald, shown being escorted by Sen. Rosamund O'Brien of Walsh, herself a newspaper publisher, who was one of three legislators who formed a committee to bring the speaker to the platform. Between Sen. O'Brien and Walsh in John D.
