Biography/History"Forum Man Gets Photo Award. A Picture made by Cal Olson of the Forum staff won an award today in the 27th annual news picture contest for member newspapers of the Inland Daily Press Association. Olson's entry, titled 'Blizzard, ' showed a herd of horses in a Badlands snowstorm. It placed third in features competition for photographers on newspapers of more than 50, 000 circulation. The contest drew 2, 212 entries. It is sponsored by Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. Awards were presented at the press association's annual meeting." - The Forum, October 16, 1967.
