| Biography/History | Deborah DaFoe, 3 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland DaFoe died on February 16, 1955 from asphyxia. The girl had gone to play in an adjoining apartment while her mother slept. She turned the gas on the stove and was over come. When the mother awoke to find her daughter missing, she searched the building and found her unconscious in the neighboring apartment. The girl was taken to St. John's Hospital where she was pronounced dead. |
