| Biography/History | Jacob Dockter was born in 1891 in Neudorf, Russia to John and Magdalena Dockter. The family immigrated to America in 1899 and settled in Sheridan County, N.D. Jacob married Martha Dockter in 1923 and they farmed and raised their family near Goodrich, N.D. until retiring in 1957. Martha Dockter died in 1983 and Jacob in 1986. |
