| Biography/History | Philipp Wall was born April 23, 1883 in Neu Glickstal, Russia and came to the U.S. with his parents in 1885 living first in South Dakota then Wishek and finally Mercer, N.D. in 1906. He married Katherina Rueb in 1906. She was born in Kassel, Russia and came to America with her parents, first to Menno, S.D. and later Ashley, N.D. They farmed near Mercer, N.D. until retiring to Bismarck, N.D. Philipp died in 1983 and Katharina in 1984. |
