| Biography/History | Theodore E. Hillius, Jr. was born in 1916 near Medina, N.D. and in 1938 married Emma Schatz. They farmed in the Medina area and raised seven children. Theodore died in 1980. Israel Dammel was born in 1885 in Teplitz, Bessarabia. In 1893 the family immigrated to America and settled in Eureka, S.D. Israel circa 1899 homesteaded near Medina, N.D. He married Christina Kirschman in 1909, they farmed and raised three children. In 1942 they retired and moved into Medina. Israel died in 1980. |
