DescriptionEngraving of Fargo as it appeared in 1880. High elevation rendition looking over the town as viewed from the Red River looking west to the horizon. There are several steam boats on the river, a train crossing the railroad brige over the river and numerous building in the view. In the lower right corner is inset a smaller image entitled "Fargo in the Fall of 1872. From a photograph". The streets on the image are labeled.
