| Transcription | Progress on construction of the $5, 000, 000 beet sugar refining plant of the American Crystal Sugar company north of Moorhead is shown in this aerial shot by Gifford Herron, Fargo Forum cameraman. The structure, 1, 060 feet long is now fully enclosed by brick, with all heavy machinery installed. Work on the plant is well over the half-way mark. Company officials expect the plant will be ready for the 1948 Red River Valley sugar beet crop. The above view is looking east, the plant fronting on U.S. 75.
