Dear sis Effa: This is Mon. Eve and you would have gotten a letter tonight, but my plans were all broken up again. Yesterday (Sun.), Mr. and Mrs. K. and myself were invited over to Mrs. Rosk's parents (Paulson's) place for dinner. We stayed till 10 o'clock in the evening. We surely had a fine time. Saw Prof's little boy too. So you see I didn't get time to write any letter on Sun. That's why I called up this eve. I'm glad you're all well now, and hope you'll all stay well too. This picture was taken this Fall. All the children are not there tho. It was taken at recess. Alta and I are standing at the window as you see. My room is on the east where you see the white curtains. Must close with love to all. So Long. Loving sis Emma." -Handwritten on back of postcard. |
