Hope you'll excuse this card but it's all I had just now. It's no use to plan it seems. When I plan to write you folks a good long letter, someting turns up and breaks my plan every time. Will send a card anyway. Will be so glad to get that dress for Fri. Hope I can use it all right. It's nice to have good sisters. You said you had so much to tell me. I surely have news too. Hope to see you all on Sat. if the weather is fairly nice. Say sis, I also wrote to Fillmore this evening, like you said. 'Spose I better stay here tho if I can, but I might keep the same grades next year. You don't care do you. Will tell you about it Sat. Hope you all are well at home. Tell all hello please. So long. Loving sis, Emma." - Handwritten on back of postcard. |
