"Dear sis Ellen: How are you any way sis? Haven't heard from you since I saw you on the train when you and May went back. Hope you both are well and happy. I'm sure you're as busy as ever. Have been looking for a card tho sis. Maybe you've sent one and I haven't gotten it. Isn't the train on the bum now tho? It didn't come at all on Sat. but came Sun instead. Got a card from Effa tonight and also one from J.K. The H.S. boys have organized a baseball team, and they gave a 'Basket Social' last Fri. the 28th. We surely had a fine time. Fri. before that we got a sleigh ride. Ellen if you have the 'little folks' budget' could you send it to me for a little while. Send me a card sis, please. Tell those I know hello.
