| Transcription | "Hello, received your card, thanks. Remember what you said about the other kids not answering so I thot I'd see if I could do better. how is everybody over there? Hear you live on the other side of the river. Which side do you like best? Selma and Gertrude and Didrick are going out to the Germans for dinner to day. The rest of the folks have all gone to church. Say the kids are certainly having a time taking pictures most of them turn out black. Guess I'll swipe one and send you a sample. I spose you know the front of this card, if you don't Drew can enlighten you. Kind of lonesome around here since u went.
