Brown, United Lutheran Church of Williams Co. N.D. Met him on the train. This claim he has proved up while preaching. He is going to Canada now [illegible]. Nels. 16 M. S.W. | Biography/History | Rev. Burnt O. Brown was a lay preacher who homesteaded in Section 17, Burg Township, Divide County, N.D. He served the Trinity Lutheran Church located about a mile from his claim. He went to Canada and rented his place to William Hasselstrom. A picture of the farmhouse from when the Hasselstrom family lived there is published in "Stories and histories of Divide County", p. 95. |
