| Transcription | "Remember this? Last spring one of the first farmers in the area to begin seeding was Julius Wilson of near Kragnes on his evergreen farm. Gifford Herron took the picture which subsequently won press honors. A Litchville reader, A. G. Pawluk raised the question whether it was bona fide - challenging whether the team could pull a drill, adding that Wilson was walking crookedly. He inferred it was an April fool's day shot." - Caption with image featured in article "Planting Grain In Spring... Reaping the Harvest in July", Fargo Forum & Daily Tribune, July 31, 1949, p. 10. |
