Transcription"Last fall the 12th Avenue overpass was torn down to make way for a new, safer and more reliable replacement. No one was sorry to see the old overpass go, although it did have a certain ramshackle charm. The new overpass will be a long time in coming however, and by the time it's completed some may be wishing they had the old bridge back." - citation with photo in The Bison 1977 yearbook, p. 168.
