Biography/HistoryAndrea Springan was born in 1875 near Houston, Minnesota to Norwegian immigrants, Andrew (Aanon) and Anne (Gundersdatter) Springan. In 1880 the family moved to near Hoople, N.D. Andrea and her brother Thor (Tom) both homesteaded near Williston, N.D. Tom later moved back to Hoople, N.D. Andrea married Olav G. Wadle in 1896. He was born in Norway in 1868. They farmed near Hoople, N.D. and raised six children. Olav died in 1940 and Andrea in 1949.
