| Biography/History | Sena Amdahl was born in Nedstrand, Norway on December 27, 1874. She came to America with her parents in 1892. The family settled in Ossian, Iowa. In 1899 she came to North Dakota with her brother Bert, and filed a homestead claim in Impark Township, near Fillmore, N.D. She married John J. Rendahl, and together they had four children. She died in Moorhead, Minn. January 26, 1966. Her story is featured on pages 122-123 in the book, Land in Her Own Name. |
