| Biography/History | Ruth Abbott homesteaded in section 18, Deering Township, McHenry County, N.D. in 1901. Her claim was next to that of her brother, Newton C. Abbott, Jr. In 1904, Ruth Abbott married Ole C. Haug., and they have five children. Her biographical sketch is on pages 153-154 in the book, Land in Her Own Name. |
