| Biography/History | Anne Anderson was born at Arendal, Norway in 1889 and came to America in 1907. She filed on a homestead in Arnegaard Township, McKenzie County, N.D. in 1910 near her brother Ole Anderson. In 1912 she married Olaf Hovde who also had homesteaded nearby. He was born in 1882 in Valdres, Norway and came to America circa 1904 and in 1907 he too homesteaded in Arnegaard Township. The lived in McKenzie County and raised six children. Olaf died in 1952 and Anne in 1990. |
