| Transcription | "This is a view of the so-called Woodland park area of Moorhead, which is one of the first sections in the two cities to be flooded when the river rises. The picture was very likely taken from a fow [sic] boat. The Grace Methodist church and the old Moorhead high school can be seen in the background." - Identification by James Fay, 1954, and typed on identification sheet.
Based upon the location of the Gate City Roller Mills visible at left, the church is Pontoppidan Lutheran and the view is looking west/northwest from the Elm Street N. area of Moorhead, Minn. Location is misidentified on information sheet. |
