| Transcription | "This view was taken looking north toward the intersection of Fourth street and Sixth avenue south in Moorhead. The house in the background was the residence of Ole Martinson at 523 Fourth street south. Beyond the Martinson home can be seen the Borgen hotel. A duplex, numbered 501 and 503 Fourth street now stands on the location of the old hotel. The wooden bridge crossed the courlee [sic], which in recent years was filled in." - Identification by James Fay, 1954, and typed on identification sheet. |
