Transcription"This view of the Northern Pacific bridge and the old south bridge was taken from the foot of what is now Center Avenue in Moorhead. The building shown at the lower right was the old steamboat freight house, which stood just across Third Street from what is now the Moorhead Daily News building, but which was then occupied by the Zervas & Kippels meat market. The objects seen on the south bridge are steam threshing engines placed there to weight down the bridge." - Identification by James Fay, 1954, and typed on identification sheet.
