Transcription"This view of the Northern Pacific bridge was taken from the old south bridge. The buildings in the background are the Moorhead saloons located between Third street and the old north bridge. The veranda or gallery seen at the right was a part of the Hamm building located at the Moorhead end of the old south bridge. The Hamm building, at least when it was destroyed in a spectacular fire on May 28, 1913, contained 5 saloons and a pool hall." - Identification by James Fay, 1954, and typed on identification sheet.
