| Description | Senator Langer with saw in hand, together with airline flight attendant Joyce Robideau and Senator Young standing behind very large loaf of bread. Directly behind them is Northwest Airlines airplane with steps leading to entrance of airplane. In front of loaf are two large signs. The sign at left states, "This giant loaf of bread made possible by the following: Berg Fargo Motor Supply, Brownee Bakery, Comercial Electric Company, Fargo Foundry Company, Gibb Plumbing, Kost Brothers, Inc., North Dakota State Mill & Elevator, Northern States Power Company, Peavy Lumber Company, Service Chevrolet, Inc., Smith, Inc., Waterbury Furnace Company" The sign a left states, "This loaf contains 365 lbs. flour, 12 lbs. sugar, 15 lbs. shortening, 9 lbs. salt, 8 lbs. yeast, 24 gals. water and was baked 6 1/2 hours". |
