| Biography/History | Andrea Farland was born in Norway in 1855 and married there Torkel Farland with whom she had ten children. In 1887 she came to America where her husband was already living, at Alexandria, Minn. They later moved to Veblen, S.D. where he died in 1907. In 1908 she and six of her children moved to Big Meadow Township, near Wildrose, N.D. to homestead. She died in 1945. |
