| Biography/History | Emma Hagen was born at Ringsaker, Norway in 1887 and came to America in 1907, living in Wisconsin before coming to North Dakota to homestead in 1910. Her parents and sibling also came to homestead in Stoney Creek Township, Williams County, N.D. Living nearby to Emma's homestead was Seymour Foster who she married in 1913. They lived on his land and raised six children. Emma died in 1963. |
