| Biography/History | "The Dakota Block , on the corner of Second Avenue N. and Broadway at 121-23 Broadway was built in 1893, and refaced in 1899. It was erected in 1893 on the old foundation of the Pinkham Block, which was destroyed in the Fargo fire of that year. The original owners hired the Hancock Brothers, but Milton Earl Beebe reconstructed the facade after a fire in 1899. It has since been refaced in green panels." - Fargo's Heritage, by Norene A. Roberts, p. 58. |
