| Biography/History | Hans Rolie was born in Norway in 1864. He came to America at the age of three. He grew up near Sacred Heart, Minnesota. He married Tina Pauline Gunderson in 1893. They had seven children, Capitola, Phillip, Isabel, Jay, Thora, Ruben and Stella. After spending some time in Nassau, Minn. and Christine, N.D., the family moved to Divide County, N.D. in 1906. They set up a homestead near Colgan, N.D. |
