| Biography/History | Aase (Alice) Jorgenson was born in 1888 at Lesje, Norway and came to America with her parents. After living at Hanska, Minnesota the family in 1906 came to Williams County, N.D. to homestead. Aase also homesteaded in 1909 in Oliver Township, Williams County and proved up her claim in 1912. She married a nearby homesteader Ole J. Holen. He was also born at Lesje, Norway in 1879 and came to America with his parents in 1892. Aase died in 1929 and Ole in 1959. |
