Biography/HistoryTheodore Roosevelt's Maltese Cross Ranch cabin was built in 1883 in the North Dakota Badlands along the Little Missouri River. After he became president the cabin was dismantled and displayed at various sites across the United States. In 1906 it was placed permanently on the capitol grounds in Bismarck. It was later returned to the Badlands where it is now located at the entry to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park at Medora, N.D.
