| Biography/History | Hubert Sydney Greene was born in St. Albans, Vermont in 1863. In the mid 1880s, he lived in North Dakota where he operated a photography studio in Wahpeton, and lived with the Don Juan Clark family in Abercrombie. From 1893-1894 he operated a photographers studio in Fargo, N.D. He also operated studios in Portland, Maine, and Billings, Montana. He was the father of movie actress, Jean Arthur. He died in California in 1944. |
