| Biography/History | This photograph is of Third Street between Demers and Kittson. The view is looking southeast. The Budge, Griggs & Co. Block, between the W. F. Perry Grocery store and the Herald building, was also known as the syndicate block. The Minneapolis Store, the Chicago Clothing House, S.C. Bjornstad's store, and Rand Brothers shared the building. There was office space on the upper levels. This block burned in 1897. None of the buildings still stand. |
