This was taken on Market Day June 26. I have marked a /x/ over the boys' office that's E. & standing by the door & Don is in the doorway. Jeanie is running down the street & is after a lady & gentleman. The chair came this a.m. Both children were delighted with it but I can fully understand it was hers. "mine chair" she calls it. Biography/History The Post Office at Westhope was established in 1903 when it moved from the smaller town of Scotia. The original Post Office was located in a private residence. The Post Office pictured above was built about 1908. Westhope absorbed the earlier communities of Scotia, Richburg and Sergius.
