| Biography/History | The Walsh County Courthouse, designed by F. C. Croser, was erected in 1886. The Soldiers' Monument was constructed in 1900 as a tribute to the men of Company C, First North Dakota Regiment, and their participation in the Philippine Insurection campaign. The monument bears an quote of General Lawton: "You can't stampede the First North Dakota". |
